Work outside of specific collections

A skeletal metal sculpture with a central ball and oval shaped rays extending from the center. Thin steel sections connect the rays to the central ball and form a shape resembling a fungus known as an 'earth star'

Geastrum

‘‘Geastrum’ is a steel sculpture inspired by the fungal species of the same name.

This work focuses on delicate forged connections, and breaking down the body of Geastrum into a hollow but complex form. This work aims for fewer harsh geometric components, using thin lines to emphasise the skeletal form and create a strong visual divergence from its centre.

Warped window

Warped window’ is a sculpture inspired by the design of the cathedral that the exhibition took place. Constructed with large round and diamond point square rivets . The perceived warping of the window’s bars and frame itself relates to the historically intense features within the cathedral itself, applying great pressure to the people and the building itself.
