CROCICREAS

Inspired by the fungus known as Crocicreas Coronatum.

At approximately 1-2mm in diameter, the real world inspiration for this piece grows on the stems of dead or decaying herbaceous plants, easily missed though incredibly unique in their form.

This piece highlights a specifically absurd fungal form that is so often overlooked due to its size, using a rust patina to resemble the colour of crocicreas.
